On first start, with fresh preferences, the mouse pointer tool symbols (star, rectangle etc.) have a white stroke, no fill and are invisible on the default canvas
Steps to reproduce:
This is a purely cosmetical issue.
- delete or move preferences file
- open Inkscape
- select a tool
- draw
What happened?
-
every shape tool's pointer looks the same. I can draw a yellow star, a red circle and a blue rectangle by default, but the visible pointer is only a black cross. When I hold the mouse above one of those shapes, I can see that it's the tool's pointer, but with a white stroke, so it's invisible.
-
As soon as I set a fill for the first time, that will be used for the mouse pointer tool symbol.
What should have happened?
- the pointer should always, also on the very first start, correctly reflect what object I'm drawing.
