Text snaps back to original size after being scaled by dragging handles

#### Summary:
<!-- Summarize the issue/suggestion concisely: -->
If you drag-select all text and other objects in a graphic and then resize it with handles, text will be depicted as scaling during the handle-dragging; but it snaps back to its original size when you release the mouse button.
#### Steps to reproduce:
<!-- Describe what you did (step-by-step) so we can reproduce: -->
- Open Inkscape.
- Open the attached file.
- Drag-select everything on the page.
- Scale it up with a corner handle. Optionally constrain it with Ctrl.
- Release the mouse button.
#### What happened?
Text was shown as scaling with other elements during dragging, but it reverted to its original size after the mouse button is released. This occurs when "Preferences/Behavior/Store Transformation" is at its default setting of "Optimized," but not if you change it to "Preserve."
Update: Thanks to some helpful comments, I'm informed that this file has text attributes set by a style (I don't know if Illustrator did this because the original was a DXF, or what). My guess is that "store transformation" records and concatenates all transformations applied by the user; "optimized" may strip out ones that are deemed unchanged between them. Since the font size is not expressed in the text object itself, it is not picked up as having been changed.
#### What should have happened?
The text should have remained scaled-up.
