Feature request: Multiple strokes and fills
I’d like to suggest adding the ability to assign multiple strokes, fills, and patterns to individual paths.
Commercial design applications (Adobe, Affinity, VectorStyler) usually provide this functionality through an Appearance panel, which displays a list of all strokes and fills applied to a path and allows users to edit their properties such as color, stroke width, line caps, and other.
Additionally, this list behaves similarly to a Layers panel, enabling users to reorder strokes and fills by moving them up or down the list, which changes their rendering order.
The Appearance panel supports adding more than two strokes or fills. As additional elements are added, the list becomes scrollable, allowing designers to manage complex styling setups with ease and clarity.
When exporting artwork to formats that do not support multiple strokes or fills, each stroke and fill is automatically converted into a separate path.
It would also be great if this feature worked for groups, allowing additional strokes, fills, or patterns to be applied at the group level. In such a case, each stroke or fill would appear on the same rendering layer across all objects within the group.
I’m attaching a short video to visually demonstrate what I’m referring to.
