I've browsed the web for how to make inner/outer strokes in Inkscape and couldn't find a definitive solution as to how to do it. there were some work around involving clones and clip masks but in tools such as Illustrator or Figma, it's as simple as a click of a button. the designer can pick from inner, middle, outer strokes. AI's stroke panel showing the 'Align Stroke' option, which gives the user the choice where to position the stroke along the path. if this is an existing option, I sincerely apologise for the redundant issue but I couldn't find a solution to this which led me to believe it isn't a supported parameter in Inkscape.
