Paint bucket tool only fills visible area

Summary:

When creating a grid, one can fill the cells of the grid with the paint bucket tool. However, it only fills the visible area/px.

  • When really zoomed in, where you can't see a complete cell, only the portion of the cell visible in the viewport is filled.
  • When really zoomed out, the edges of the cell do not get filled.

Steps to reproduce:

  • open Inkscape
  • create new document
  • go to extensions -> render -> grid -> grid -> apply
  • select the paint bucket tool
  • select a color that is not the background color nor grid color.
  • zoom in so you are only seeing part of the cell
  • click the cell to fill it.

What happened?

Only part of the cell was filled.

What should have happened?

The entire cell should have been filled.

First demonstrates when zoomed in, then when zoomed out. Neither fill the entire cell.
