Can't save a file with non-English characters when a filter is applied to an object

Summary:

Whenever a filter is applied to an object, the user won't be able to save a file naming with non-English characters. The prompt shows up stating invalid file name issue.

The screen recording below was when I applied a drop shadow filter to an object, then trying to save the file naming with Thai character:

Steps to reproduce:

  • open Inkscape
  • create an object
  • apply a filter to the object
  • save the file in non-English character, Thai character in this case

What happened?

The file can't be saved.

What should have happened?

The file should be able to save in non-English character when using a filter.
