Pen tool - create spiro path > first segment always goes straight instead of bending when mouse cursor moves

Summary:

when creating paths using "create spiro path" (Pen tool) , the initial segment remains straight instead of bending , even if i move the cursor. I installed the app as an appimage,flatpak & rpm .I have also tried the development snapshot , which seems to have resolved the issue mostly, though the problem still seems to persist when u create path. I will also attach a screen recording of the dev version (both stable and dev , 2 vids each. First two are dev versions and last two stable. I also renamed the files so that its easier to set apart).

Steps to reproduce:

open Inkscape
click on pen tool
click on create spiro path
draw path

What happened?

After selecting create spiro path , when i drew , the tool started with straight line segment instead of a bending line .This problem persists even when u move the cursor to reshape the line (Moving the cursor usually changes the shape/path ).

Tested the development snapshot : The issue is almost gone , but when drawing paths , the issue still comes sometimes , although after finishing drawing the line it becomes a curve . But u need to have the live bending during the drawing not after for easily adjusting the path.

What should have happened?

Usually when u draw using create spiro path , from the first segment itself the path bends as u draw , so that u can adjust it according to the shape u are drawing (or tracing over).
