In text tool, restoring margin handle causes text to disappear (when snap-to-grid is enabled)

Summary:

When trying out the text margin tool (thank you for implementing this!!), I noticed two issues:

  • After drawing the text frame, the margin handle was not displayed until I clicked to reposition the cursor.
  • After moving the margin handle inward and then restoring it to its original position, the text disappeared.

The second issue happens only when Snap to Grid is enabled.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open the image below in Inkscape.
  2. Snap the margin handle one grid square inward.
  3. Snap the margin handle back to its original position.

What happened?

The text disappeared.

What should have happened?

The text should not have disappeared.
