Font spacing, color, and formatting not maintained after closing file
Summary:
Error happens when I save SVG with text, close the file, and reopen it. The text will lose the correct spacing or paragraph alignment. Multiple lines of text will be on top of each other. It may move to a different location. It will export to PDF correctly. It's as if the display is not matching up with what is actually saved in the SVG file.
Text displays as black instead of red when uploaded as SVG to Google Drive. Downloading the same file from Google Drive and opening with Inkscape will either show the correct color or completely delete the text.
Setting the Genome font as "default" and then using the text tool will sometimes turn into Athiti font. Selecting part of the text and changing Spacing between baselines will change Genome font text to Athiti. Selecting all of the text and changing Spacing between baselines will not cause the error.
I am clicking Apply after changing settings and then saving.
Steps to reproduce:

-

What happened?
Genome text stacks on top of itself. Selecting part of text and changing the Spacing between baselines will change the text to Athiti in 5.4pt, even if the default was set to Genome 5.7pt and the existing text is still Genome.
Muli text in red will lose color in Google Drive thumbnail. Downloading the same file from Google Drive will either display correctly or delete the text.
What should have happened?
Text should maintain letter, word, and baseline spacing after closing and reopening file. Alignment of paragraphs should not change. Inkscape should maintain existing text font when changing the spacing. It should not default to the unrelated Athiti text. Uploading the file to Google Drive should not delete or alter text, but this may be an issue with Drive and not Inkscape.
