Rotated objects are not accurately printed
Setup
I drew a stick figure and grouped it (using Inkscape 1.2), copied it (via cntl C), then pasted it 8 times to 8 different locations on the page. I then rotated each copy a different amount (30 deg, 45 deg, 60 deg, 70 deg, 80 deg, 83 deg, 86 deg and 90 deg). Each copy and the original appear as expected on the computer display. I saved the file as an svg file and also saved it as a PDF file.
Problem
When I print (on an HP Laser Jet Pro color M451/dw) either the PDF file or svg file (using inkscape 1.2), the line thicknesses of the rotated stick figures appear to thinner, in proportion to the degree of rotation. Although the 90 deg rotated figure prints correctly (as does the original figure).
When I ungroup a figure, it still looks fine on the computer screen. But when printed via Inkscape 1.2, some parts have the original line thickness, other parts print thinner as they did prior to ungrouping.
When I print the PDF file (using Foxit Pro), all stick figures print correctly (ie all the legs and arms etc have the same thickness as the original stick figure). What should happen is that the print out should look like the display.[Rotated_objects_are_not_accurately_printed.docx](/uploads/acf949f687201f30f4d06bf014105b5c/Rotated_objects_are_not_accurately_printed.docx)
This unexpected behaviour appears to be a quirk in Inkscape. Rotating should not change line thickness and the displayed graphic should match the printed graphic. I am a bit new to this; it is likely that someone has already posted this problem. Anyway, I hope my feedback helps and look forward to seeing this resolved. btw, it looks like Inkscape 0.92 has the same problem .
