Inkscape hangs when trying to move arrow head
Summary:
When trying to move the arrow at the end of a line using the X Offset, the arrow will move only a part towards the other end, then Inkscape stops responding.
Steps to reproduce:
- I created a drawing with a few straight polylines
- The I changed the line type pattern to dashed and attached an arrowhead at the end.
- As many lines with an arrowhead ended at the same point, I moved the arrowhead to about the middle of the line using the "X Offset" in the contour and fill dialog
- Next I tried to "tune" the appearance, starting to reduce the linewidth first
- As a consequence the arrowhead was scaled, too, and to my surprise the position changed, too
- To I wanted to move the arrow head again, first by entering some numbers. However I noticed that the arrow woul move only a rather small fraction of the line, so pressed the "+" at the X Offset to move the arrowhead further, but then Inkscape stopped responding!
What happened?
Inkscape stopped responding, so I had no change to save my work! I was only able to make a screenshot when it hung: I tried to move the arrowhead towards the start of the thinner green line (similar as the blue arrow) when the problem occurred.
What should have happened?
Inkscape should not stop responding; instead it should display some useful error message. In case Inkscape hangs, there should be a way to save the work in progress.

As opening a new Inkscape instance also hangs, I cannot paste the version info, but the version is 1.2.1 on Windows (inkscape-1.2.1_2022-07-14_9c6d41e410-x64_5o3Ir4D.exe).
