Fatal error (crash?) while zooming in to text converted to path

Summary:

... When zooming in to text converted to a path (using Object to Path),it says there is a fatal error.

Steps to reproduce:

• open Inkscape
• select text tool, type something
• select node tool, click object to path
• select one of the letters
• zoom in on the letter

What happened?

A fatal error occurred.

What should have happened?

A fatal error should not have occurred.
