Adding Dynamic Offset no longer switches to Node tool

Summary:

When a user adds a Dynamic Offset to a shape, they may not be in the Node tool. In the past, Inkscape helpfully switches to the Node tool to show the Dynamic Offset handle. This did Two useful things:

1. It shows that a Dynamic Offset has been applied
2. It allows the user to immediately make use of the Dynamic Offset handle, without having to switch tools.

This is no longer the case in Inkscape 1.2. While using the Select tool, if a Dynamic Offset is added, it appears as if nothing has happened, even though the Dynamic offset was indeed added.

Steps to reproduce:

-Open Inkscape -draw a shape -switch to the select tool -Path > Dynamic Offset

What happened?

Dynamic Offset is applied, but the tool is not switched to the Node tool, so no handle is visible for Dynamic Offset

What should have happened?

Inkscape should smartly switch to the Node tool as it did before, because the next natural step is to use the dynamic offset to offset the path.
