Inkscape EPS file format different from Corel Draw EPS

I use Artcut 2009 with my vinyl cut plotter. Its an "old" program so it has limited file format uses. EPS works best. So i create vector artwork in Inkscape and save as EPS to import into Artcut. The file then looks like a heap of lines on top of each other. To remedy this i import the Inkscape "EPS" file and export again as EPS via Corel Draw. Only then does the artwork import perfectly. I have asked around about it as there are apparently different versions of EPS but i dont have the skills to better investigate on what the issue is in Inkscape with EPS format. The Inkscape EPS opens correct for example in Gimp. I have a Flycut plotter that runs a CH341SER driver on 64 bit win 10. I have tried cutting directly from Inkscape but the CH341SER driver does not close/sharpen corners. So im sticking with Artcut for now.
