SVG gradients flipped after resizing image
Summary:
When resizing the image size of an existing SVG the existing gradients within the image are flipped resulting in unintended changes.
Steps to reproduce:
- open Inkscape
- open an SVG with gradients such as
inkscape_issue.svg
- select everything with
Ctrl-A
- resize to selection with
Shift-Ctrl-R
What happened?
The image is resized correctly, but gradients are now flipped and go in a horizontal direction rather than the original vertical direction.
What should have happened?
The image should only have been resized and nothing else should be changed within the SVG. Sample attachments:
-
inkscape_issue_example.png
shows the original SVG and the edited one -
inkscape_issue.svg
contains the original unedited file with correct gradients -
inkscape_issue_edited.svg
contains the edited file where the gradients have been flipped
