Inkscape 1.2 Beta has lost the snap distance controls

Inkscape’s snap is too trigger-happy and tends to snap to objects too far away. (It also loves to snap objects back to themselves, for no reason.) However, until now, you could manually lower the snap distance document-by-document to regain some sanity. Now, in 1.2 Alpha, these settings are missing from the Document Properties dialog! The release notes give no indication of removing this control.
