[Hyperlink on composite object] Feature/Feasibility request: transparent components.
Summary:
All concerns SVG.
It is probable, that hyperlinks on transparent objects, i.e. without brush-, nor line-color, would serve me well. This is until you teach me otherwise..:
On a group of handwritten words or just one handwritten word, hyperlinks are not easily activated, as they are defined only for the visible contour of the word (worse, if it was vectorized as “line-art”). Putting a rectangle behind these words helps, but when you hope to have a colored background, later, transparency is desired.
Now.., I appear to be unable to link the whole composite object of word and transparent rectangle. Anything like that would be cool, but for the time the transparent object does simply seize to exist during any attempt to interact with the composite object.
Steps to reproduce:
- Put a transparent object behind anything consisting of a thin line.
- Group.
- Define a hyperlink for the new composite object.
- Try to click the link in a Web-Browser.
- Then tell me, how you did.
What happened?
You must hit the visible line/contour of the linked element. This can be tricky, depending on the width of the line.
What should have happened?
“Should” is a big word... I would like to hit the mouse over the whole area of the group object and have the link activated this way.
