Spray Tool "No Overlap Between Colors" Button Doesn't Work Independently
Summary:
There are two buttons in the Spray tool controls bar to manage overlaps: No overlap between colors and prevent overlapping objects. No overlap between colors work doesn't work if it is not chosen with one of the "prevent overlapping objects" or "pick" button.
To simplify defining the problem I will refer these buttons as:
(1) No overlap between colors (2) Prevent overlapping objects (3) Pick
Steps to reproduce:
- Draw a very small star
- Draw two adjacent big squares with different colors (i.e. red and blue)
- Case 1: Do not select any of the three buttons (1)(2) and (3). Select the star and spray it over the rectangles.
- Case 2: Select button (1) but don't select (2) and (3). Select the star and spray it over the rectangles.
- Case 3: Select button (1) and (2) but don't select (3). Select the star and spray it over the rectangles.
- Case 4: Select button (1) and (3) but don't select (2). Select the star and spray it over the rectangles.
What happened?
- Case 1: As expected the copies overlapped each other and some copies are on the border line between the squares.
- Case 2: The same result as Case 1.
- Case 3: As expected the copies did not overlap each other and also there is no copies on the border between the squares.
- Case 4: The same result as Case 3.
What should have happened?
- Case 1: Worked properly
- Case 2: It should not have created copies on the border line.
- Case 3: Worked properly
- Case 4: The button (1) worked properly as there is no copies on the border line. However it should have allowed the copies to overlap each other.
