Docking Impossible in 1.1
Summary:
I cannot re-dock palettes (dialogs?) to the main window (notebooks?) in the newer UI version (Inkscape 1.1 (c68e22c387, 2021-05-23)).
Preferences
-> Interface
-> Windows
-> Dialog Behavior
is set to Dockable
Workaround: Disable
Preferences
->Interface
->Windows
->Saving Dialogs' Status
to allow palettes to revert to docked on restart of Inkscape.
Steps to reproduce:
Windows 10, Adwiaita Theme Dark
- open Inkscape
- open a palette (dialog?)
- undock it (drag it around)
- attempt to re-dock to (notebook?) with another palette open, or to right sidebar, or one undocked palette to another undocked palette
- no UI highlight appears, and upon release of undocked palette's tab, the undocked palette reappears as a window.

What should have happened?
A video on a recent thread (2021-09-17
) shows that a green UI highlight should appear when a palette tab is dragged to a dockable region. This does not happen for me.
