Using extensions collapses an expanded sodipodi:namedview in XML editor

Summary:

After clicking apply in the guides creator it collapses the entries in the open XML editor

Steps to reproduce:

• open Inkscape to edit 1536.svg template attached below
• Open XML editor and expand base guides entries
• open guides creator
• make sure all windows are visible
• click apply in guides creator
• the XML window collapses

What happened?

The XML window display collapses. This is annoying when trying to create a template and change names of attributes.

What should have happened?

XML editor window should not be affected.
