Flowed text objects from older versions of Inkscape do not behave correctly in 1.1.2
Summary:
Text objects from older versions of Inkscape (using flowRoot/flowPara) behave oddly when loaded into 1.1.2, and it is impossible to add new line breaks to them.
Steps to reproduce:
- Open a file with a flowroot text object, and flowpara children
- Put the caret at the end of the text object
- Press return multiple times and note that no line break appears
- Move the caret to between two letters
- Press return multiple times and note that line breaks appear as expected
- Press backspace and note that all the just-inserted line breaks are removed
- Save the file
- Close and reload the file, note that all the inserted line breaks have vanished
What happened?
Line breaks do not behave properly and do not save in 1.1.2.
Closing the file can also cause Inkscape to crash.
What should have happened?
Line breaks should behave normally and save correctly.
