Dialog tabs are hidden when switching to or opening some dialogs.
Summary:
Weird scrolling of menu when they are all anchored in the side "shelf", could be intended behaviour but it feels a bit annoying on a small-ish (15.6i) screen.
Steps to reproduce:
- open Inkscape
- open some menu on the right togglable shelf: fill and stroke, document proprieties, selector and css
- click on the tab for fill and stroke: the menu is visible and its tab too
- click on selector and css or document proprieties: tabs are gone (out of view)
What happened?
Fill and stroke menu tab is kept visible, but for the other two the view scrolls a bit, hiding the tabs. It's a minor annoyance but impacts the user experience more than a bit, losing the graphical reference of the tabs when navigating menus. Also, selector and css is doubly annoying as it scroll just enough to hide its tab, but some important buttons (the plus and minus icons to add/remove selectors) are still out of view.
What should have happened?
Tabs should remain in view when switching menus, allowing for swift navigation. Having to scroll up whenever you click the wrong tab (icons for some menus are similar-looking so it happens) its frustrating. Also most important icons shouldn't be left out of view when opening a menu.
Sample attachments: Normal menu view: tabs are there to select and click
After clicking on document proprieties: subtabs are on view but where are the other menus? Scroll up again to find them
Selector and css: a blank slate with nothing to do (the class selector I added it's the only feature, without it it would be void)
