Desk settings not loading at startup

Summary:

Desk settings (color and/or checkboard) don't load at Inkscape startup, no matter if you load a previous file or have saved it into a default template.

Steps to reproduce:

OPTION 1

• open Inkscape
• open Document Properties
• set a Desk color and/or check Desk checkboard
• save file
• close Inkscape
• open Inkscape
• load previously saved file
• you will see that the Desk color and/or Desk checkboard are not loaded

OPTION 2

• open Inkscape
• open Document Properties
• set a Desk color and/or check Desk checkboard
• save file as default template
• close Inkscape
• open Inkscape
• create a new file
• you will see that the Desk color and/or Desk checkboard are not loaded

What happened?

you will see that the Desk color and/or Desk checkboard are not loaded

What should have happened?

The previously saved file or new one should show the Desk settings when loaded
