Crash when attempting to do things to text
Summary:
Inkscape crashes a lot, especially whenever I want to manipulate text i.e. I want to rotate it, move it, change the text itself, etc. It also likes to crash on me in other situations, but the easiest one to reproduce is the text issue.
This often happens when I am working quickly i.e. when I do things such as copying objects, pasting objects, rotating objects, editing text objects, etc. in quick succession.
This crash did not happen on the previous version of Inkscape I was using (0.92.1).
Steps to reproduce:
- open .svg file with Inkscape
- Rotate text object along with an object of a different type
- If it hasn't crashed yet, change the text
- If it hasn't crashed yet, keep manipulating and interacting with text objects until it does
What happened?
Inkscape crashed.
What should have happened?
It should not have crashed. It should have allowed me to continue manipulating/interacting with the text object.
Sample attachments:
In the first backtrace file, I had opened a different file before opening the target file where the crash occured. In the second one I opened that target file directly, and was able to cause the crash in the same way (rotating a text object and another object in the same selection).
