Recently used list not updated until restart in 1.2-dev

Steps to reproduce:

• open Inkscape
• draw a rectangle
• save file somewhere using the save dialog
• Check File > Recent files

What happened?

• Recent files list not updated with latest files

What should have happened?

• Recent files list should be updated

Version info

• Inkscape 1.2-dev (9402e808ec, 2021-11-12) Linux Mint 20
• Bisection of successful builds points to inkscape@7d81ca39 (so inside the Gio::Actions migration MR inkscape!3611 (merged))
