Copy-Paste across documents loses style information

Summary:

Style information is lost when I copy from a source and paste to a new document.

If I ungroup the source objects sufficiently first, then copy/paste, it retains style information. But of course, I lose groups then.

Steps to reproduce:

  • Load attached file
  • Copy group of objects
  • Paste to a new document

What happened?

Resulting objects are all black.

What should have happened?

Style information should have been retained.

I've reduced this down from the full file. There are numerous other objects there that don't copy correctly, I'm assuming they have the same root cause.
