Turbulence filter component parameters have values limited to 1.00 in GUI widgets, leading to being unable to edit what was created by the Noise Fill filter preset
If you use the "Filters > Overlay > Noise Fill" filter, and use higher frequency values so that the noise grains are finer, after you apply the effect, if you try to adjust it afterwards you are unable to get the same UI, you get the filter editor instead.
One of the problems with the filter editor dialog is that its spinbutton widgets clamp the values to 1.00 maximum, whereas the turbulence component (and most likely, many other components) can go much higher than that. This is then forcing the user to throw away their existing filter, or edit the XML by hand, because this one (shown on the left here) does respect the original values:
This was tested with Inkscape 1.0.2 (e86c870879, 2021-01-15) on Fedora 33.
