LPE dialog doesn't show currently selected LPE on open

Steps to reproduce:

• open Inkscape
• switch to pencil tool (P)
• enable LPE based interactive simplify (button right of the Smoothing widget in the pencil toolbar)
• draw a path
• open LPE Dialog (Ctrl+&)

What happened?

• dialog is empty until a new selection is made

What should have happened?

• dialog should show current selection on open
