Corner nodes move much slower than smooth nodes

Summary:

High Power and CPU spike when clicking and dragging a node. (See Pic for support explanation)

Steps to reproduce:

• open Inkscape 1)Open file as SVG.
  2)Click Edit Paths by Node. 3)Click on a node and move it.

What happened?

Exceptionally slow lag. Power Use Spikes to Very High. CPU shows jumps from 13% to 28%.

What should have happened?

not be that noticeable.
