Inkscape 1.1 crashes when selecting 'save as' using snap on ubuntu 20.04

Summary:

After starting Inkscape, as soon as you select from the File menu the option "save as" the program crashes.

Steps to reproduce:

  • open Inkscape
  • select File menu
  • select option "Save as"

What happened?

Program crashes. I renamed the .cache directory and retried but made no difference.

What should have happened?

Would be nice if I could actually save a file :-)
