Crash when picking file with missing linked image

Summary:

When selecting a document in the Open dialog, if the document contains a link to an image which is missing, Inkscape often crashes.

Steps to reproduce:

• place the two attached SVGs in a folder
• open Inkscape
• select File > Open
• navigate to the folder with the two SVGs
• click one of the SVGs (do not open it)
• click the other SVG
• alternate clicking back and forth between the two

What happened?

After a few clicks, Inkscape will crash.

What should have happened?

Should wash my dishes for me.
