Please add an option to collapse docks quickly
Summary:
The new docks are more difficult to close / minify than they were in previous versions. To close a dock, I now have to close every single dialog in it or to hide all dialogs with F12 (which unfortunately prevents them from opening again, as it's a display setting, so I need to press F12 again then to show all dialogs).
Previously, it was enough to click on the little arrow in the top right corner (at least in the dock configuration where there was one dialog open at the top, and multiple other dialogs were listed as icons in a horizontal bar below that).
There's no option to just 'fold in' or 'minimize' a dock currently, and many dialogs have a minimum width that takes up up to a third of my screen width.
I'm looking for a way to be able to either:
- resize dialog docks to any width I like, if necessary by adding a scroll bar to the dialogs inside
- or to have a little arrow / handle / whatever by which I can collapse the dock to a width no more than the width of the snapping bar.
It should be possible to do this by mouse, with a single click / click + drag, for each dock (left/right) separately. A keyboard shortcut like F12 is not enough.
Steps to reproduce:
Open Inkscape master and work with it.
What happened?
The docks always take up a large portion of the screen, and beyond just closing them, there's no way of temporarily and quickly hiding them with the mouse.
What should have happened?
Docks should be collapsible
