Superscript, subscript break font size when no text highlighted
Migrated from https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape/+bug/894300
Steps to reproduce:
- open Inkscape
- switch to text tool
- type some text
- don't highlight anything (so cursor still at the end of the line)
- press the subscript or superscript button
- font-size in text object becomes
font-size:65%
and the default font size is lost - press the subscript or superscript button again
- font-size becomes
font-size:;
What happened?
- font size is lost when doing these operations
What should have happened?
- font size preserved when no text is selected, probably acceptable to have similar behaviour to when all text is highlighted
- https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape/+bug/657321 mentions another acceptable behaviour (that is a feature request), when no text is selected, if you press subscript/superscript, you enter that mode, and new text is written as subscript or superscript
