Icons blurry at different sizes (trouble aligning to 16x16 grid and 24x24 grid)

Summary:

Icons are blurry in different icon size

Problem:

hello devs,

I am design inkscape icons for better UI, but one big problem is some icons are looks sharper in 16px grid and some 24px

but main problem is some icon use 2 place and one place looks clear and other place looks blurry

And same thing happen if, icon size change (smaller to small or vise versa) then icon sharpness changed, because of 2 grid size.

i can make both grid (16px or 24px) size of icons, but problem is we can use only one icon(16px or 24px)

Steps to reproduce:

  • open Inkscape
  • look all icons
  • change icons size
  • restart inkscape
  • check again icons, icon sharpness changed

Solution, if Possible

i don't know about of coadding, that's why i say if possible

make 2 icons 16px and 24px for different icon size for consistent clearly of icon

or re-define icon size according to only one pixel grid, so changing icon size is not effect icon sharpness

maybe difference is not noticeable in image but in app I can clearly see difference
