Pressing right super key crashes 0.92.3 in MATE 1.20.1 on Linux Mint 19.1

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open Inkscape
  2. Press right Super/Meta key (usually brings up right-click menu)

What happened?

Crashes immediately, every time. Terminal output: "Emergency save activated! Emergency save completed. Inkscape will close now."

I couldn't find a way to output more info. The right super key works in all other applications I've tried. It's not clear if this is a bug in MATE or Inkscape. Keyboard is a Logitech K200 and my workstation is a Lenovo ThinkCentre M715q.

What should have happened?

Expected to see the right-click menu.

Inkscape Version and Operating System:

  • Inkscape Version: 0.92.3
  • Desktop: MATE 1.20.1
  • OS: Linux Mint 19.1
