Suggested addition to Snap to Rotation Center

Snap Rotation Center: won't snap a selected object's rotation center if in a group (rotation center of group available). Similar problem with multi-object selection.

Request for snapping to rotation center of group.
Note from mailing list: this was intended, as rotation centres of objects in the group don't have that much use in this context.

Note: potential use case: rotation handles made to approximate center of mass.
Note: if objects are not in a group, but are in a multi-object selection, individual rotation centers are kept, but group rotation centers are lost.
Change tooltip of "Snap an item's rotation center" to "Snap rotation origin" or similar. This moves away from the phrase "center", which is used for "Snap centers of object" (reduces ambiguity).

Open Inkscape
Create multiple rectangles.
Give them some space so the center of the bounding box is distinct from the corners/centers/etc of the rectangles
Create a vertical and horizontal guide.
Select all the objects (or put them in a group and select the group)

Try snapping the following to the intersection of the guides.

Enable snapping for rotation center. Disable snapping for object centers See that it snaps to the group's rotation center only.
Disable snapping for rotation center. Enable snapping for object centers See that it snaps to each object's bounding box center, but not the group's bounding box center.

Let's not forget about it ;)

Change tooltip of "Snap an item's rotation center" to "Snap rotation origin" or similar.

From mailing list: Considered Snap transformation center, since that is center of skewing. Caveat: may be too technical.
