feature request: equivalent to Adobe Illustrator transform again (ctrl-D)

Summary:

we want a repeat last action shortcut key command which allows you to duplicate your last transformation and is especially useful when you're copying objects and want them to be spaced an exact distance apart.

Detail:

I know there is a workaround with the transform tool but that requires you to know what measurement you require. The convenience of being able to place a copy exactly where you want it then press ctrl-d to transform again would be great.
