Inkscape does not start on Mac Mojave 10.14.4

Steps to reproduce:

open Inkscape

What happened?

XQuarts shows the following error message (with squares so there is no way to know what's going on)

What should have happened?

Should it simply start?

Inkscape Version and Operating System:

Inkscape Version: 0.92.2 (installed from dmg)
Operating System: Mac OS-X
Operating System version: Mojave 10.14.4

I tried to start from terminal and this is the output:
