unwanted warning 'Canvas::on_idle: clean region is empty!'

• Windows 10, Inkscape 1.1-dev (ca266ce, 2020-08-03)
• on every startup, from DOS, I get the warning message:
  Canvas::on_idle: clean region is empty!
