Inkscape crashes while using the color-picker multiple times in a row

Summary:

... When i use the Color-Picker multiple times in a row, inkscape crashes without any message. That can be after using the tool 10 times or 30 times. Sooner or late it crashes. Saving inbetween dosnt help to avoid the issue.

Steps to reproduce:

1. open Inkscape
2. Select an object (triangle in that example)
3. Take Color-Picker (D)
4. Select Color under the triangle as fill-color
5. Hit Tab (or select another Triangle, works both)
6. Repeat 2.-5. until inkscape crashes (maximum 20-30 times at mine)

What happened?

Inkscape crashes without any Errormessage. Running cmd gave me the following:

(.. unimportant font stuff removed..)

(org.inkscape.Inkscape:4980): CRITICAL : 22:57:54.792: void Inkscape::UI::Dialog::LayersPanel::_layersChanged(): assertion 'document != nullptr' failed

What should have happened?

Inkscape shouldn't have crashed? :D
