Past of object that was offset pastes wrong size
Summary:
If I create an object that was offset using the path effect editor Offset feature, on the first attempt at copy and pasting, the wrong object (or no object) gets pasted. On the second attempt, the object gets pasted, but is the wrong size!
Steps to reproduce:
- open Inkscape
- Create an object (Object A), e.g. a square or ellipse or sector.
- Apply an Offset path effect from the path effect editor to the object.
- Copy the new object (Object B)
- Paste into a new Inkscape file.
What happened?
The current clipboard content (Object B) is NOT pasted. Either nothing, or a previously copied object is pasted. If Object B is copied again and pasted into the new file, it does appear, but is the wrong size (enlarged). ...
What should have happened?
Object B should paste correctly the first time, and appear the same size as it was in the original file, not enlarged. ...
