Emojis do not render at all

Summary

Emojis do not render at all in the text element. However, in the text preview everything renders as expected, see screenshot.

Note that even if I choose Noto Color Emoji as the font, the emoji does not render.

Also note that rendering the svg in Firefox or Chromium, the emoji is displayed.

Steps to reproduce

1. Open Inkscape
2. Create a new text element
3. Use "d🐕g" as the text (however the actual content does not matter. no emoji I tried renders for me.)
4. See that the eomji is not rendered in the text element
