Paste style with marker adds marker to active style (hard to remove)

Summary:

Pasting style from clipboard creates permanent markers for rectangles. Ctrl+C on any path with markers on ends, then Ctrl+Shift+V onto any rectangle copies the markers to the rectangle and I can't find a way to get rid of them either. All subsequent rectangles appear to also have the same bug. Restarting Inkscape fixes the bug for new rectangles, however the existing arrows still are still there.

Steps to reproduce:

  • open Inkscape
  • Shift+f6 (Draw Brezier and straight curves)
  • Draw straight line
  • Select straight line and add markers to line end
  • f4 (rectangle tool)
  • draw any rectangle
  • select and copy straight line to clipboard
  • Ctrl+Shift+V - past style to rectangle
  • draw new rectangles
  • restart inkscape or (or on load of bug file)
  • rectangles act as usual, however I still can't get rid of the end markers on existing rectangles

What happened?

Rectangle object now has what looks to be a permanent end marker. Until inkscape is restarted all other drawn rectangles also have the same end marker.

What should have happened?

The color and thickness ( and fill?) of the copied line segment should be applied to the rectangle without the markers being applied to the rectangle.

I have attached a file which replicates the bug on my desktop
