Ellipse forming a weird shape when duplicated

Steps to reproduce:

• open Inkscape
• Draw an Ellipse
• Give it 100 px stroke and 300 px width and height
• Duplicate the ellipse using ctrl+d
• ellipse is duplicated but a weird bump forms on the ellipse

What happened?

I was duplicating an ellipse with 100 px stroke but when I did so, it duplicated with a weird bump on its side. I have attached the screenshot and the file which you can see. ...

What should have happened?

The circle/ellipse should have been duplicated just fine without anything new appearing over the circle or stroke but I have this nightmare. It happens every time I duplicate the ellipse no matter I chose Switch to Arc, Switch to Slice or Switch to Chord. ...
