Glib ConvertError on selecting some fonts macOS, Windows

Steps to reproduce:

• open Inkscape
• create text object by Text Tool
• open fonts list
• moving item by using cursor key

What happened?

• indicate error message and crash Inkscape. Please see attached.

What should have happened?

• keep working until select a font we want.

• Inkscape Version: 1.0rc1 (09960d6, 2020-04-09)
• Operating System: macOS
