Mesurment tool show incorrect information on hover (missing scale factor)

Steps to reproduce:

• open Inkscape
• draw rectangle 250x250 px
• open XML editor (observe size) 66.145836 x 66.145836 (dont know what units)
• look at rectangle tool (observe size) 250x250 px
• take measuring tool hover on object (observe size) 66.145836 x 66.145836 px
• measure one side with (observe size) 250 px

What happened?

• wrong measurements in multiple places

What should have happened?

• seam correct measurements

workaround

change unit size in measurement tool and hover over another object and back
