"Make a Bitmap Copy" – add "Bit depth" preference/option

Steps to reproduce:

  • open Inkscape
  • create or load any image
  • select some objects
  • click "Edit" -> "Make a Bitmap Copy" (or press Alt+B)

What happened?

Inkscape creates a RGBA bitmap copy of the selection.

What should have happened?

Inkscape should have an option to specify the "Bit depth" of the created bitmap.

RGBA makes sense as a default, but I very often would rather have e.g. a higher-resolution grayscale bitmap or a extremely-high-resolution 1-bit mono bitmap instead.

Suggestion: In "Edit" -> "Preferences" -> "Imported Images", next to the existing "Resolution for Create Bitmap Copy", add a "Bit depth" preference with options corresponding to those in the "Export PNG" dialog.
