Hatch fill handles do not work

Steps to reproduce:

• open Inkscape
• draw rectangle
• Object > Paint Servers
• apply a hatch fill
• try to move the handles

What happened?

• during moving, the fill changes during a short interval, then gets stuck and does no longer adjust

What should have happened?

The handles should affect the hatch fill everytime they are moved.

Inkscape Version and Operating System:

• Inkscape Version: 1.0rc1 (cb074a39af, 2020-04-24)
• Operating System: Linux Mint 19.3
