Zoom Correction Factor does not persist between launches

Steps to reproduce:

• open Inkscape
• open Inkscape Preferences
• select “Interface”
• after holding a ruler up to the on-screen reference, I set the Zoom Correction Factor to 98%
• relaunch Inkscape
• open Inkscape Preferences |> “Interface”
• Zoom Correction Factor is back to 100%

What happened?

Zoom Correction Factor resets to 100% on every application launch

What should have happened?

I'm pretty sure it should persist...my screen is not changing so often that I should manually calibrate this setting on every launch.

Inkscape Version and Operating System:

• Inkscape Version: Inkscape 0.92.5 (2060ec1f9f, 2020-04-08)
• Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 Pro for Workstations (64-bit)
