Feature request: Keyboard shortcut to repeat last operation

The Idea:

Assign a shortcut to repeat the last operation performed. Especially helpful for boolean ops, such as to cut out fonts and such: after you click 'Difference', selecting the next objects and pressing the shortcut will repeat this operation.

Migrator's Notes:

• Strangely enough, my GitLab search-fu returned nothing relevant. Again apologies if this is a duplicate issue. I find it incredible that no one since 2004 has requested this feature.
• Devil Advocate: in the example cited above, wouldn't select and CTRL/CMD-"-" be the same thing? And that's true of most of Inkscape's abilities (except the basic move, scale and rotate), rendering an additional "Repeat operation" redundant. But that's for the powers-that-be to decide.
